The attach Sportive Results.files gives details of the events members are currently known to have completed along with future plans for some riders.  If you want your details added, drop me an email and I'll update the list.  My email address can be found at the top of the file.

The site www.cyclosport.org is a source of information about sportives mainly in the UK, but with links to some of the larger European events.

Below is a summary of local events that riders may like to enter.

Little Lumpy - Surrey - 16th May 2010 - with a selection of routes from a family friendly  32 miles to 100+ miles.

Chiltern Hundred Challenge - 6th June 2010 - starting in Great Missenden with a choice of 3 distances from 55 - 107 miles

The MagnifCat - 13th June 2010 - The has been a popular event with Maidenhead riders in previous year.  It was previously known as the HighClere Sportive, but for thisw year has now moved to the Newbury Race Course.  3 distances from 51-126miles.

Chiltern Challenge - 27th June 2010 Starting from Henley with 100mile and 100km routes

London to Oxford - 4th July  Unlike most sportives this is a point-2-point ride of 53 miles.  A beer tent is read and waiting at the finish line

Anthony Maynard Sportive - 18th July run in the memory of Anthony Maynard from Reading CC who was killed while riding just north of Henley at Bix.

London to Windsor - 5th September a point-to-point 37mile family friendly ride.  I believe special trains are available early morning from Windsor to Richomd.

Chiltern Ride 101 - 10th October Another Chiltern based event.  This time from Thame and out towards Whipsnade zoo.  101 miles.
