5 of us braved sub zero temperatures and slippery roads this morning for the clock tower ride. We thought it best to stick to main roads, so went to Marlow, Henley and Sonning - even then there was quite a bit of ice around and it was a bit skiddy in places. Kept the pace down until we neared White Waltham when suddenly we put on a bit of a spurt.... Was it that the ice had melted?.... Nope, we were nearing the pub!

Met up with Andrew there....and Brett and Mike joined us soon after....

It was good to catch up over a half pint of bitter- Gurpal was strangely fast up the hills on the way home!

Happy Christmas everyone, I am off to Snowdonia for the next couple of weeks as always at this time of year, so will see you all in the New Year,
