Hi everyone!

Rather than (nearly) always doing the same route out to Nettlebed via Pishill, how about having a "leader" nominated each week who will take us out somewhere new via an interesting route ? In a previous club (Weybridge Whs) we used to publish a list of dates for perhaps 6 weeks ahead with the "volunteer" leader and the planned destination. Incidentally we used to have a tea-stop too but methinks the M+D club run ethos isn't ready for something that radical...

I think it might add interest to the rides, but also encourage a less fragmented ride if the precise route is known only to the leader, if you see what I mean.

Could always do it via this forum....

Anyway I'm hoping to get out a lot more Sundays this Winter so see you all soon.

Actually I'm trying to decide what gear to use on the fixed wheel bike, one that will get me up Pishill AND be able to keep up on the way back ! I'm going to try 47x16 - about 80" I think.
