G'day all,

This is my first forum posting, a subject that I seem to be boring those close to me with so I figured I'd share it with lycra clad individuals not unlike myself in the hope of inspiring just a sprinkling of interest....or just something more than a glazed expression would be nice!!

Many of you may have heard of the 'Race across America' (or RAAM) and more recently the Race across the West (RAW). Both of these events have gained my interest of late but after discovering the qualification criteria, the training commitment and the logistics (not to mention the funding involved!) I soon dispelled the idea of Solo RAAM. I do believe however that 'team RAAM' or more realistically 'team RAW' is still a possibility for me at some point so I thought I'd put this out there to all you cyclists looking for a different kind of challenge and see if there is a possibilty of forming a 'team Maidenhead' that could participate sometime in the next couple of years!

At this moment in time there are no plans in place but by planting the seed of thought.....who knows? So, feel free to comment and/or express an interest as you wish.
In the meantime, I thank you for at least humouring me.....fellow cyclists!! (I knew you'd understand!!)
